Life with Lilah!

What a whirlwind the last 2 months have been! Yeah, Lilah is 2 months now!  It has gone by fast, but feels like she's been with us a lot longer.  Life has been busier, but even happier and the transition into motherhood has been pretty smooth.  What a delight little Delilah is!  It is amazing how much personality a little newborn can show for being so small.  I couldn't wait to have a baby to just watch all day and be entertained by and Lilah does not disappoint!  I thought I laughed pretty often before she was born but that has like tripled since she came.  She does the most darling, funny things and is so stinkin smart already!
She is a little diva and definitely knows how to get her way.  Every time she is hungry or wants to be held she invents a new sounding cry to get our attention.  She also makes the saddest frowny lip face and has mastered the slow blink which is impossible to resist!

She has her daddy completely wrapped around her tiny finger and he is already worried that she will be too good at manipulating us to get what she wants :)

She eats well and gives me pretty good sleeps at night (3-4 hour or more blocks at a time, since she was born) so I feel pretty spoiled.  She even lets us see movies!  We figured out a trick that if we put her in a sling that I wear around me she will sleep through any movie!  We've been able to see all the good holiday flicks that are out!
Yesterday was her blessing day.  It was pretty special because her behavior made it clear that she felt special!  The night before, we tried on her pretty white dress and she was squeeling out of excitement and smiling nonstop!  Later, we had her on our bed and were asking her questions and telling her about her blessing and she turned into a little chatterbox!  She was cooing all over the place and trying to tell us the special things she knows.  Keith gave a very sweet blessing and it was surreal to see this dream realized of having a wonderful husband and a wonderful baby with me to love.  All day after that, she was so peaceful and smiley around family and it was such a great day!

So here are pics of the holidays and stuff I need to catch up on:
