Pushing Tues-daisies

A relatively new tradit that me and miss Andrea Stevenson started, because our husbands were schooling and working late on Tuesdays, is tunin' her netflix to the full series of Pushing Daisies.
I do strongly believe that this is held high on the "Brilliant but Cancelled" list that VH1 did that one time. At least its high on mine. Such the most adorable show! Plus we eat all kinds of chocolates and other sugars Andrea has in a merry abundance on her coffee table. It's a great girly time but still has enough murder mystery intrigue that amuses the husbands, should they get home early and sit in on the fun sometimes. After this last Tuesdays PD fix, we were analyzing why it is so delightful to watch. "The facts were these:" 1.The Cast/Script. Good balances of humor and heartbreak, romance and practicality. 2. The sets/scenery. Aesthetically pleasing for the eyes and colorful, whimsical pleasantry for the brain and soul. 3. The Music/Narration. Original orchestrations and British narrations are the perfect icing on the cake. These all Combined create an irresistible immersion into this quirky, non-fictional, fictional world. In other words.. So stinkin cute! It's too bad the writers strike had to happen when this series was just getting into full swing. Oh well, that's why there's netflix now :)

Oh I do love Pushing Daisies so! It has an other worldly, realistic feel. I think we both know that the best life to lead would be beneath a pie crust.
